Some very sad news to report today. One of the earliest members of Trivium, bass player Brent Young, has passed away. Young performed on some of the band’s earliest material, including a demo and the band’s debut full-length, Ember To Inferno. Brent also played some of the band’s first tours, too. This was just a couple years before the band really hit it off by signing with Roadrunner Records. Brent was eventually replaced after parting ways with the band by Paolo Gregoletto for the recording of their breakthrough album Ascendancy. Matthew Heafy confirmed the news on his social media earlier today.
