Tool reveals new album “Fear Inoculum” will release August 30th, entire discography to appear on streaming services for the first time

It’s actually happening! We can hardly believe it ourselves, but Tool have officially unveiled the title of their 5th full-length album. The record, which is the band’s first since 2006, has been heavily teased for years – but this time, it’s official.

The record’s title, which was revealed by the band on Instagram to be titled Fear Inoculum, officially drops August 30th. Though no official songs have been released from the album yet (though 2 were played live), the announcement coincides with another big one from the band as well.

Yes, Tool’s entire discography will be available on streaming services for the first time ever, joining a host of others that have finally caved in over the years. As The Verge impressively notes, Tool was months away from missing out on the iTunes generation entirely, which is pretty wild to think about. Tool’s discography will be available (presumably) on all services August 2nd.
