Misery Signals created quite a frenzy last week when they announced via social media that they would be hitting the road with their original line-up to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their acclaimed debut album Of Malice and The Magnum Heart.

The band is now thrilled to reveal the complete itinerary for the Malice X tour. The 8-show tour, which sees original members Jesse Zaraska, Kyle Johnson, Ryan Morgan, Stu Ross and Branden Morgan performing their debut album in its entirety, will kick off in Vancouver, BC on August 13 at The Biltmore Cabaret and will wrap up in Toronto at The Opera House on August 23. On celebrating the tenth anniversary of their debut release, bassist Kyle Johnson had this to say, “Malice was written and released at such a critical time in our lives as musicians. After the disbanding of 7 Angels 7 Plagues and the Compromise accident, there was a lot of emotion in the air in the Misery Signals camp. We were able to capture that raw emotion and create Of Malice and the Magnum Heart in response to those events. It’s the single most important musical release of our lives. I’m thrilled to have an opportunity to shake up those old feelings once more, ten years later, with the very people who made it possible.”

Misery Signals got their start in 2002 and quickly gained notoriety after releasing 2004’s Of Malice and the Magnum Heart. The album which breathed fresh life into their genre with the band’s signature style of aggressive riffs, melodic bridges and atmospheric elements, went on to be one of the most influential metalcore album’s of the last decade.
