You can mark it down now – Polaris is the next great Australian metalcore band set to explode on a worldwide stage. Much like their compatriots Northlane and Ocean Grove have done recently, the band combines a fairly standard metalcore approach with lots of melodic hardcore influence to create something that has familiarity, but also their own unique charm.
Their 2016 EP The Guilt And The Grief was just the initial volley that really catapulted Polaris into the mainstream consciousness, and now they’re set for even bigger things. Having played support to bands like Periphery and played at Unify Gathering 2017 earlier this year, their time is right now. Don’t miss out.
