Monday Playlist: New Tracks From Lonely The Brave, Deftones, Textures, The 1975

collage

We’re bringing it back again – here’s our Monday Playlist. It’s been many months since we’ve put together a good Spotify playlist, but as we “spring” forward, there’s no better time than now, right?

Anyhow, check out our list below. There’s some great new songs by Lonely The Brave and Deftones (who are both dropping new albums soon), and some recent gems of the last few years like Deafheaven, Young Guns, and The Amity Affliction. Lonely The Brave’s “Black Mire” stands out in particular, as it’s a gritty, raw rock and roll performance – sounding much like a grittier You Me At Six or Biffy Clyro. Considering how good 2014’s The Day’s War was, it’s going to be difficult to top – but not impossible. The new Deftones track here, “Doomed User”, is a new track that expands their post-rock influence, while still being something you’re familiar with.
