Maruta Remain Dystopian with new single “Stand in Defeat”

Miami, FL grinders Maruta are out for blood with their newly released single “Stand in Defeat”.

The bands Relapse Records debut, “Remain Dystopian”, is set to hit the street June, 2nd. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Maruta, these guys offer some of the most vicious, and unrelenting death/grind that I have come across (and actually enjoyed) since early Napalm Death and Pig Destroyer.

Speaking of Pig Destroyer, “Remain Dystopian” features guest vocals by Pig Destroyer’s own, J.R. Hayes, as well as At The Gates’ Tomas Lindberg. What other reason could you possibly need to crank this track up to 11?!
Hell…if Mia Khalifa is down with some Miami grind, you should be too!

“Stand in Defeat” is a punishing, 1:37 of auditory assault that blends traditional grind/noise with a very tasteful mix of thrash and manic death metal. If this track is any indication of what is to come from “Remain Dystopian”, I’ll be counting the days until its release. When asked what listeners can expect from the rest of the album, Maruta frontman, Mitchell Luna had this to say:
“It’s fast, complex and filled with a few surprises.
There are blast beats, blast beats, and more blast beats, which I’m sure you’ll come to expect.”

He continued, “This is the 2nd album that we’ve put together with the exact same lineup as the last, so we were able to refine our sound a bit.”
