Carnifex is apparently playing their cover of Slipknot’s “The Heretic Anthem” live at Warped Tour

6 albums and over a decade into their career, critically acclaimed death metallers Carnifex have certainly outlived most of their peers – both in popularity, longevity, and the fact that they keep improving with age. This culminated in 2016’s Slow Death achieving some of the highest reviews and sales of their career to date.

Considering the band is also slaying crowds all summer on the Vans Warped Tour, it’s safe to say they have achieved a certain measure of popularity, which is always great to see. They deserve it. Even better is the fact that they’ve included their popular cover of Slipknot’s “The Heretic Anthem” on their 6 song setlist all summer.
