The description for Brampton, Ontario’s Sons Of Revelry is pretty enlightening.
“Imagine yourself at a Music Festival back in the 60’s. You are free, inspired and loving life. You can feel the warm relaxing sun on your face.
The cool breeze on your skin. You are in true bliss.”
There’s nothing I love more than hearing new bands, too. Sure, Uproar was a blast mainly because Godsmack and Escape the Fate brought down the house, but Sons Of Revelry is a name you need to remember. They won the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, which landed them a coveted spot on Uproar Festival this summer. When they won, the band wasn’t yet a year old – which is absolutely unheard of for a band just starting out.
I caught up with the band late in the day during Tampa’s Uproar date, and needless to say, this is a band I’m absolutely cheering for. Watch out.
