Fresh off a big 2018 where they toured in support of their sophomore record, Deadweight, Ocala’s own metalcore heroes Wage War are waving the flag for accessible modern metalcore. With their “stripped” versions of “Johnny Cash” and “Gravity” gaining massive fan support, you really get the idea that their 3rd album, whenever it’s released, could really break them into the big leagues.
It seems we may be getting new music from the band sooner rather than later, if the band’s recent teaser is to be believed. It’s been around 18 months since Deadweight was released, so it wouldn’t be particularly surprising as the band’s 2019 action gets underway. While we can’t say for sure if it’s new music they’re teasing, it sure looks like it. Pray for RIFFS.
