If you’ve been watching the news the last few weeks, you likely know about the devastating wildfires going on all over Australia right now. A staggering number of animals are feared dead, and sadly the destruction isn’t limited to wildlife either – lives and homes are being destroyed as well. However, Australian post-hardcore band The Amity Affliction are doing something about it by hosting a special benefit show later this month.
We will be playing a benefit show to help out everyone effected by the fires. It will be in Melbourne on Monday Jan 20. More details to follow soon!

Booked for Melbourne on January 20th, the benefit show will see the proceeds going towards those affected by the fires, and while there’s little word yet as to anything special that might happen at the show, it’s nice to see bands using their platform to try and help their fellow man (and animal) out here.
The band is also gearing up to release new music this year, thanks to a lengthy clip of a new song which you can find here.
