While people speak of the emo trinity of the 2000s to be My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco, and Fall Out Boy, one of the more underrated giants were The Academy Is. With monumental albums like Almost Here and Fast Times at Barrington High, the Chicago rockers have flown fairly under the radar this decade.
From a seemingly-abandoned Facebook page comes a new post today. The image is reminiscent of the album art for the aforementioned Almost Here album, with some different colors. Could this mean a reunion? A tour of this legendary album? Irregardless, us at New Fury are beyond excited to hear what’s next for this emo powerhouse.
