Jimmy Eat World Announce “Criminal Energy” Summer Tour

Jimmy Eat World announce their Criminal Energy Tour today. The 20 date summer run will start in Atlanta, GA on August 6th and culminate in a hometown gig in Phoenix, AZ, Labor Day Weekend, on September 5th.  New Jersey based The Front Bottoms will join the tour as direct support with Turnover and Joyce Manor splitting the duties of opening the festivities on select dates (noted below). Tickets for the tour will be available to the general public starting on Friday, March 13th at 10AM local time with various presales beginning as early as Tuesday, March 10th at 12pm local time. Chon, Turnstile, Jon Hopkins, Turnover, The 1975, + more announced for star-studded Coachella 2019 lineup

Another year, another star-studded edition of the annual Coachella Festival. The 2019 edition, which was announced late Wednesday night, features an array of diverse performers, from Ariana Grande to The 1975, and Grammy nominated Jon Hopkins to rising stars like Soccer Mommy. On the rock and metal front, there’s obviously less to look at, but Turnstile, Chon, and Turnover are playing, which is pretty cool. These 3 bands were ones you’d be able to see just about anywhere – from a sweaty underground basement show to a dive bar recently – so surely it must be awesome for them to play likely their biggest stages to date. Turnover premieres stunning new song, “Super Natural”

The massive success and reinvention of Turnover on 2015’s Peripheral Vision will likely resonate in the alternative music scene for a while. Not one to rest on their laurels, though, Turnover have premiered a new song, “Super Natural”. The band’s 3rd full-length album, Good Nature, drops August 25th via Run For Cover Records.
