Southern California concert fans are going to be really ecstatic to hear that Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA & The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA have teamed up to put on an all day festival at The Observatory called CHAIN FEST. (Flyer Below)

FEST, which takes place in Gainesville, FL, is an amazing three days full of music, friends, and absurdly delicious food. People travel from all over the United States (and from out of the country, too!), to come spend a three day weekend in Northern Florida with old and new friends. With a stacked lineup and countless venues, there’s no way that you wouldn’t have the time of your life at FEST. To add to the FEST-ivities, the second day of FEST fell on Halloween—I spotted Bert Macklin, F.B.I, more Bob’s Burgers characters than I could keep track of, and people walking around in pizza costumes. Read on after the jump to see just how wonderful FEST 14 really was.
On August 8th and 9th we were able to drive down to Atlanta for Wrecking Ball. Obviously I was expecting it to be a great time, but I wasn’t sure what to expect venue-wise. Split into two levels with the downstairs being Hell and the upstairs being Heaven, The Masquerade was such an enjoyable venue to be at am I’m honestly bummed that it’ll be closing because I’d like to be able to go back. The smaller outside stage was Purgatory and the larger stage was Masquerade Music Park which both always had a crowd despite the intense heat. Read on after the jump to see shots of the bands and hear about their performance over the weekend!
When Wrecking Ball got announced back on April 1st I thought for sure it was the most cruel April Fools joke ever. Here we are just days away from the festival and it is more than real. The organizers of Wrecking Ball have put together one of the most stacked lineups this scene has seen with plenty of bands that we never thought we would be able to cover. Read after the jump for a quick rundown of who we’re anticipating seeing in Atlanta.
