The ultimate pop punk lineup wrecked Old National Center last night in Indianapolis, IN. Crowdsurfers gave security a run for their money nonstop during We The Kings, State Champs and Simple Plan. The crowd even split in half as they readied for a wall of death when the first chorus of “Check Yes Juliet” by We The Kings dropped. Pits were running rampant through the whole night as the crowd was constantly on their feet and moving.
Later this month, State Champs and Simple Plan will be touring the USA on a co-headlining tour, where they’ll also be joined by We The Kings. While that tour is just a few weeks out from starting, the three bands have now teamed up on a collaborative new single, “Where We Belong”. Predictably, it’s a take on what most modern pop-punk sounds like in 2019, but fresh music from all 3 bands is okay by us. We’re sure you’ll feel the same.
New York pop-punk band State Champs have released a brand new song, “Dead And Gone”. It comes with the announcement of a brand new full-length, Living Proof, which drops June 15th – the band’s first new album since 2015’s breakout Around The World And Back. That album cycle saw the band playing some of the biggest stages, both on major support tours, as well as headliners of their own – so it’s quite possible that Living Proof will be the band’s biggest record yet.
