Fans of Australian progressive band Closure in Moscow have become accustomed to patience. The group’s last release, the phenomenal Pink Lemonade, dropped back in 2014. Since then, they have provided sporadic updates on new music, with their diehard fans waiting feverishly for any concrete signs of progress. But now, it appears the band has reached a major milestone.
Tragodia is a metal/hardcore band from the Central Florida area. I first saw them perform at Backbooth a few months ago and I knew I wanted to shoot for them as soon as I could. The band consists of: Dan Placides (Vocals/Songwriter), Nathaniel Dobbins (Lead Guitar/Songwriter), Scott LaFlesh (Guitar), Nick Horan (Bass) and Joshua Newkirk (Drums). They’re very down to earth and have always shown kindness to me as a photographer. The band also has some new music coming out soon, which you can check out below.
As most people are aware of, Issues has been quite busy in the studio with recording and working on their new album Headspace. It’s expected to be released to the public May 20th – though they just gave us a sneak peek into another song titled “Blue Wall”. The official band tweeted this with the link of the new song “New song, it’s a heavy one. Dedicated to victims of overzealous police violence, past and present”.
As you might know, Andy “Black” Biersack recently has been working on his solo album titled The Shadow Side. We first heard “We Don’t Have To Dance”, then “They Don’t Need To Understand”. Today, May 6th, Andy released his whole album for the world to hear. You can stream it below.
