Good news, metalheads! Now your parents, friends, and family can’t tell you that your pursuit of metal knowledge is completely fruitless now. An esteemed Australian university has now offered a fully-funded scholarship to, you guessed it – study heavy metal. However, it might not quite be in the fashion you would think.
Long one of the most revered metal bands in history, Judas Priest needs little introduction. With over 40 years of putting together some of metal’s biggest records – 1990’s Painkiller might well be their pinnacle – you could be faulted for thinking they’ve lost a step, but they really haven’t. Their most recent album, Firepower, is a metal tour-de-force that’s simply one of the best late-career albums you’ll hear from any veteran metal act.
Luckily for us, we were able to capture their tour supporting the album, along with support legends Uriah Heep. Check out all photos below!

Sydney, Australia based Industrial Metal quartet New Project have teamed up with Venezuelan Bass Heavyweight ZARDONIC for a truly BRUTAL remix of their intense “Ora Pro Nobis”, which the band has paired with a hypnotic Visualizer Video. Premiered with PureGrainAudio, the surreal imagery in tune with New Project’s dark, pulsating beats and layered vocals, and Zardonic’s trademark explosive bass make for an intense and fully immersive electronic metal baptism.
Metal EDM heavyweight Zardonic and industrial metal workers New Project join forces for a pounding remix of ‘Ora Pro Nobis’ that packs the equivalent of 12 red bulls or 1 Chuck Norris roundhouse kick to the face. Imagine what John Connor is thinking as he bunkers in and awaits the fallout. This is ‘Ora Pro Nobis’ (Latin for Pray For Us).”
