In the last few years, there have a good handful of horror films following Truth Or Dare, including a wide released one this year. Who would have thought that a Syfy made for TV one though would end up being half decent?
Nomvdic are currently on a 7-day Dual CD Release Run as they introduce their newly finished EP, ‘Horror‘; it features 7 re-recorded, remixed, and remastered tracks. The music video for latest single, ‘THE VVITCH’, is my personal favorite because of the work done by the following members: Joey Durango, Austin Coupe, James Lewis, Lights Out Recordings, Phil Pluskota of Sonic Assault Studios, and Gabrielle Parpard. It’s by far one of the best videos that I’ve seen within the Tampa scene. Not only the quality but the overall make of the video portrays the story line perfectly.
For one living in the United States, it’s hard to imagine a social climate in which the topics of political correctness and social justice are not brought to the forefront of everyday news, and certainly these topics are newsworthy – both in regards to those who are fighting for education and improvement of said topics as well as those who are trying to tear them down.
In America, these topics are seen with increasing prevalence in relation to media, notably movies and film, which have, since their modern inception, been subject to strict scrutiny. Is there a line in being politically correct? Is it necessary to be so at all, or is it just letting the over-sensitive “social justice warriors” win, and therefore diminish the quality or the art in question?
Oklahoma City based BEAUTY IN THE SUFFERING, the electro-metal project from producer Dietrich Thrall (ex-DOYLE, MARAZENE), have posted their 2016 teaser in the form of a 90 second video collage which highlights the bands upcoming releases.
