Should you be stoked? Absolutely. While there’s no definitive release date for the band’s follow-up to 2016’s Magma, which saw them tour the globe with the likes of Slipknot and headlining their own massive shows as well, we now know that the band is in the studio recording a new record. At least, that’s what it looks like, if a recent Instagram post is to be believed.
Chicago Open Air Presents returned back to Seatgeek Arena in May after a one year hiatus and even through some tough weather delivered two days of heavy metal goodness.
Venue – Metropolitan Park
Location – Jacksonville, FL
Date – April 29th & 30th, 2017
I’m pretty keen to figure out if Gojira’s new album Magma will be as good as their previous material. That being said, there’s no questioning their superb live performances, which they’ll be bringing to North America this fall. You can check out all dates below. The tour also features the return of progressive metal favorites Tesseract, who are surely a treat to see as well.
