Two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated Pennsylvania quintet August Burns Red have announced a Fall 2021 European Tour. ABR will co-headline alongside Bury Tomorrow, with support from Miss May I and Thornhill. Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 18 at this location.
It’s bewildering that my first exposure with Bury Tomorrow was hearing vocalist Dani Bates on Attack Attack’s “Lonely” in 2010. Soon after, I followed Bury Tomorrow with pensive interest as they released a steady stream of noteworthy albums, like The Union of Crowns and Earthbound. Now, the band is at record #6, with Cannibal seeking to complement the already-impressive discography.
Bury Tomorrow easily stand out among a sea of like-minded metal bands. While you could argue any of their current 5 full-lengths as containing their best material, it’s 2012’s The Union Of Crowns that truly displays their most prolific songs to date. 14 tracks and an almost hour runtime might seem a bit much for a metalcore record, but there’s hardly a moment wasted here.
