New Fury Media is excited to bring you the exclusive premiere of the new single from Out of Service. Titled “Sleep”, the song is off of the New Jersey emo/alternative rock quartet’s upcoming album Burden. The album is produced by Nathan Hussey of All Get Out, and the single tackles harrowing subject matter with a slow build reminiscent of bands like Manchester Orchestra and Citizen.
Fresh off of releasing their fifth (and likely final) studio album Science Fiction, Brand New headlined this year’s High & Low Festival on Saturday, performing to a packed audience at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California. Containing seven tracks off of Science Fiction which the band performed for the very first time, in addition to many fan favorites, Brand New’s set was nothing short of electrifying. If you were not fortunate enough to attend, you can experience the entire set through the fan-shot video below. Thanks to Deniz Davenport for live streaming the whole set!
Long Island emo/alternative rockers Brand New have announced dates for their up and coming headlining run this fall. Support for this trek will come from The Front Bottoms, and Modern Baseball on all dates. You can find the tour dates, ticket links and more after the jump.
It’s been 7 years since Brand New released Daisy, and since then, the band has released a new track (last year’s “Mene”), gone on several sold-out headlining tours, and generally proven they’re still a driving, vital rock band. Today, the band released a new song, “I Am A Nightmare”. It channels the spirit of Interpol, of all bands, but it’s still something distinctly Brand New. Check out the new song below.
