Physical music sales are continuing to dwindle as the music industry continues to move predominantly towards streaming, and that has made it more difficult than ever for bands – especially rock and metal bands – to get any kind of RIAA certifications. Gone are the days when albums like Hybrid Theory would end up selling enough records in a week to go Silver or even Gold in just a couple weeks, but that doesn’t mean these accolades are completely nonexistent now.
After the demise of Attack Attack!, Caleb Shomo had plenty to prove with his new project, Beartooth.
