Australian hardcore/metal band Crowned Kings have released their long-awaited new album, Sea Of Misery. The 13-track album, which was produced by Nick Jett of Terror, is available to listen to below. The album is a ferocious effort that bridges the gap between traditional hardcore bands like Trapped Under Ice, and more metal-oriented crossover acts like Madball and/or Leeway.
Perhaps our friends at Kill Your Stereo said it best when reviewing the new album, saying about the album: “Slayer inspired riffs, brash and heavy breakdowns, and a massive Madball/Terror vibe that is not only undeniable, but also done very well.”. We think you’ll love it, especially if you love moshing and/or thrash.
