Static-X have pulled together their resources to bring Wayne Static back to life, through the art of music. After 11 years since their last album, and the tragic death of Wayne Static in 2014 – Static-X has managed to pull off a very unique way to honor Wayne with their new album, “Project Regeneration, Vol. 1”. The band found old files of unused vocal recordings and musical compositions of Wayne Static, thus bringing the idea of their new album Project Regeneration to life. Project Regeneration, Vol. 1 features some of Wayne’s final musical recordings and vocals throughout the album. The lineup for this album features the original lineup from the band’s platinum debut Wisconsin Death Trip.
Static-X is now fronted by Xen0, and he wears a mask to resemble Wayne Static after the band received the blessings of the family further adding layers of depth to the tribute. Project Regeneration, Vol. 1 features 12 tracks that all feature Wayne’s vocals and songwriting. The new album is now available worldwide!
