Rating:9.5/10

The Recently Deceased is a Psychobilly trio from Baltimore, Maryland. They recently contacted me to see if I would review their new album and I could not say no since I have been a fan of them for quite some time now.

I have been jamming out to this release since it arrived in the mail and all I can say is these guys hit this album out of the park!! “Never Trust The Living” opens up with one of the best intro’s [Let Now The Dead Come Alive] I have ever heard and it flows right into one of my favorite tracks “Vampira”. Every track has its own unique sound and every track separates itself from one another. They mix your typical psychobilly sound with Halloween inspired lyrics, but also stir in horror punk, a bit of rockabilly and a whole lot of attitude. The flow between songs goes perfectly and the song placement is awesome.

I could give you all a play by play of all 12 tracks but I think you need to just order the album and make your own opinion on it. I did not find a single song that I didn’t like and I will definitely see myself spinning this album a bunch more in the future.

If you want to sample the band, these are the recommended tracks: Vampira, Devils Cadillac, Dead By Dawn and It Walks, but like I previously stated, the whole album is highly recommended.

For Fans Of: Cold Blue Rebels, Rezurex, Dead United
