Photo Gallery: Polyphia and Friends Get Lit on the Lit AF Tour!

If you think your parties are lit af, then think again. Polyphia, Jason Richardson, and Covet got you topped and they brought the party to THE GARAGE in Burnsville, Minnesota. The show opened up with Skyhaven, who are a group of kids that were taught by Tim and Scott of Polyphia. They certainly did not disappoint. We see a lot of comments online saying that Skyhaven is just Polyphia Jr., but we couldn’t disagree more. The guys put their own creative twist on the sound and made it their own. Tim and Scott from Polyphia joined Skyhaven on stage to perform Skyhaven’s song “Liftoff”, which Tim and Scott feature on. Skyhaven is a talented group of guys and we highly suggest you check them out. They aren’t even a part of the tour package, but we strongly believe that you need to check them out.

Following Skyhaven were Covet. Covet is a three piece instrumental act from San Francisco with some killer vibes. The guitarist Yvette dropped noodle after noodle and left us speechless. Self-described as “adventure rock”, Covet’s sweet tunes left us feeling like we were wandering through the kingdom of Hyrule or hangin’ out with Jake and Finn. They were really vibing off the crowd, and the bassist, David, was all smiles and just having a great time. Which is what music should be all about. Covet will be on the rest of the Lit AF Tour.

Up next we have djent god supreme, Jason Richardson. Jason paired up with ex-The Word Alive drummer Luke Holland to bring the shred and breakdowns. Definitely different from the rest of the acts, Jason and Luke managed to fit in quite well. Both extremely talented individuals, the two really meshed well together to bring a full and theatric sound, despite there only being two people on the stage. If you have the chance to see Jason and Luke on this tour, definitely take the opportunity. You won’t be disappointed.

Now, for the grand finale, we have Polyphia. They definitely brought the energy and stage presence to make it a fantastic set. Bassist Clay Gober acted as frontman in-between songs and hyping the crowd up in general. Polyphia played songs from all over their discography, including tracks from their first EP, Inspire. Fans marveled at the copious amounts of talent coming from the band as they commanded the stage. Everything from the light show, to how the performance was mixed was spot on. The show was definitely LIT AF.
