Knocked Loose go for the throat on “A Different Shade Of Blue” (Review)

Love them or hate them, there is no denying that Knocked Loose have made quite an impact on the music scene ever since their 2014 EP Pop Culture. Only continuing to grow with Laugh Tracks in 2016, this debut led the band to become even more talked about in both a positive and negative aspect causing a major division between people who either loved this style of hardcore with its extremely unique take on vocals, its bare-bone riffs or even the lyricism overall, to those who can’t stand it. The underlying question here is: did the band cater to the nay-sayers and change their sound up for their sophomore album? Within the first 10 seconds of Belleview that’s answered with a resounding “hell no”.

The Ghost Inside are recording a new album with members of A Day To Remember + Fit For An Autopsy

While the possibility of the band playing more shows is up in the air as of this time, The Ghost Inside’s long-awaited comeback show almost 4 years after a tragic van accident was a resounding success. Sold-out long before the show actually happened, it’s been known for a while that the beloved band were plotting new music – and it appears we have a little more of a timeline for that new music, at least with the band recently teasing it on social media.

Boris premieres new single “Love” ahead of major USA tour dates

The next chapter in Japanese rock legends Boris‘ story has arrived; their new double LP LφVE & EVφL is set for release on October 4th via Third Man Records.  This double LP exists as two independent works, encapsulating conflicting connotations that interweave and become intricately entangled with one another, gradually eroding before becoming utterly singular. Continuing to tinker and toil with their sound since the 2017 release of DEARBoris have pivoted onward a more organic, non-grid literary style that LφVE & EVφL showcases.  The album’s first single, “Love,” is one of the most musically diverse in their career and showcases a snippet of what is to come on  LφVE & EVφL.
