Though a new name on the block, Los Angeles metal band Second Shooter have already made a name for themselves with an EP and a host of shows, including an opening slot for Jinjer just last year. Their explosive blend of death metal, groove metal, and hardcore has earned them a solid fanbase early on, and their new video for single “1 In 6” is a good starting point to the band’s energy. Especially vocalist Melanie Johnson, who roars with confidence with an array of vocal styles.
