Orlando-based prog band Letters to Part has released their new EP, Mad’Ouk.
With a tinge of Circa Survive and some Dear Hunter here and there, this dreamy-sounding, unique act takes aim at some serious source material. With a lyrical focus on spousal abuse, neglect, and self-worship, it’s sure to tug the heartstrings of some listeners that have been in this dark place.
We took a look at single “Ascian” earlier this year, and the rest of Mad’ouk continues to impress. At a concise 24 minutes, the message manages to reverberate in the listener’s mind, making for a great release to get immersed in. Check out Letters to Part’s Mad’Ouk here and let us know what you think!
