Recently having signed to Revival Recordings, Texas-based Thieves certainly aren’t your average pop-punk band. They’re far more aggressive and especially more technical than their peers. Those unique characteristics, shown on their new album No Motive, will surely help the band stand out among a sea of crowded acts.
The band is a fairly veteran act, however. They’ve been plying their trade for quite a while, and their diverse sonic palette (anything from Thursday to modern pop-punk) is what makes them a very interesting band to watch. I was lucky enough to have a conversation about the band’s new album ith Billy (vocal what it’s really like being on the road, and more about what kind of music influences the band. Check out the audio below (via phone – try to ignore the couple times it cut out near the beginning), and get to know the band a bit better as well.
