Epitaph Records has been snapping up some spectacular bands lately, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a more unique and interesting band than Beautiful Bodies. The band, who is intriguingly hard to pin down genre-wise (think punk attitude and energy, with synthpop influences everywhere) is playing to larger crowds on the Vans Warped Tour. For a band that maybe not many people knew coming in, they’re also touring in support of their label debut full-length, Battles.
I had the chance to talk to Alicia/Thomas of Beautiful Bodies on the St Pete date of Warped Tour recently. Check out the interview after the jump, along with the video for one of the best songs off the new album, “Capture And Release”.
