We’ll spare you the details. Fans of adventurous and sweeping instrumental post-rock should find a lot to sink their teeth in on Man Mountain’s new full-length, Infinity Mirror. The band’s attention to buildup and atmosphere is fantastic for a fairly new act, and having the backing of rising label Spartan Records is certainly helping the band as well. You can add Man Mountain to the new “wave” of post-rock and post-metal bands that are doing new and exciting things in the genres (Set & Setting, Tides Of Man, etc), and while Infinity Mirror is a relative short album (6 songs at a brisk 38 minutes), that doesn’t mean the album is short on quality. If you listen to “Memory Trace”, you’ll be convinced.
Music. Gaming. Nostalgia. Culture.
