Another year, another star-studded edition of the annual Coachella Festival. The 2019 edition, which was announced late Wednesday night, features an array of diverse performers, from Ariana Grande to The 1975, and Grammy nominated Jon Hopkins to rising stars like Soccer Mommy. On the rock and metal front, there’s obviously less to look at, but Turnstile, Chon, and Turnover are playing, which is pretty cool. These 3 bands were ones you’d be able to see just about anywhere – from a sweaty underground basement show to a dive bar recently – so surely it must be awesome for them to play likely their biggest stages to date.
