(HED) P.E. Drops Video For “First Blood” From Upcoming Album Class Of 2020

Legendary SoCal artists (HED) P.E. just released their twelfth studio album, Class of 2020, via Suburban Noize Records on August 21. The date also marked the 20th anniversary of the group’s breakthrough album, Broke. To celebrate the launch of the new record, (HED) P.E. has released “First Blood,” directed by Devin Pacheco. The video features footage from ground zero of the uprisings that recently sparked a major global revolution.

LA Radical Punks The Damed Drop New Self-Titled Album

California’s socially and politically charged all female punk three piece, The Damed, have dropped their debut self-titled album to universal praise from fans and absolute shock from their adversaries. Fronted by guitarist-vocalist Heather Hellskiss, bassist Suzanne Slade and drummer Watts Yoshizawa, the angular stricken guitar riffs soaked in chorus and fuzz feed the brooding driving bass lines that weave between the tom-ridden disco punk surf beats. Legendary hardcore punk frontman HR (of Bad Brains) to release new solo record “Give Thanks” this fall

 

Paul “HR” Hudson is best known as the front man of the iconic punk band Bad Brains, formed in 1979. With unprecedented speed and precision, Bad Brains took the Washington, DC music scene by storm and quickly became the most influential band in American punk history, breaking down cultural barriers and creating emotionally charged music centered on the message of maintaining a positive mental attitude (PMA). This concept of PMA continues to inspire HR’s fans.
