After announcing just last week an upcoming album due out at the end of this month, Bring Me The Horizon have unveiled a new song, “Teardrops”. We’re just going to note that the new track channels early Linkin Park, one of the band’s biggest inspirations on their newer music, and that’s not a bad thing at all.
What’s really impressive about the new song is that Oliver Sykes’ vocals really explode around the 2:30 mark, and “Teardrops” includes a bubbling synth that really does bring the song more life. It won’t be a surprise to hear this song on XM Octane for quite a while, as BMTH are really starting to merge their more accessible pop influences with the guitar crunch that defined their Sandpit Turtle album in 2013.
