Born Of Osiris tease possible re-release of debut album “The New Reign”

Amidst the celebration of Sumerian Records and their 10 year anniversary this year, Born Of Osiris’s debut record The New Reign is also approaching its 10 year anniversary next year. A groundbreaking fusion of deathcore and the tech-metal they would later perfect on future releases, it remains a seminal album in the music scene overall. Given the popularity of 10-year anniversary tours, it would make sense for them to tease something like this. Our friends at New Transcendence have come across something that might be confirming this news.

Here’s a screenshot that strongly hints at it. Whether it’s a remastering of the album, a re-release, a tour supporting the album, or maybe a combination of the 3, it’s an exciting time to be a fan of metal, and extreme music in general.

Even better is that this tour is basically confirmed, thanks to this screenshot at the Tampa Orpheum, taken by our very own Blake F. The New Reign is one of the most important releases in Sumerian Records’ history, helping to establish the label early in its infancy.
