Berried Alive, the relatively new project of Charles Caswell (ex-Reflections), is gaining traction at a speedy rate. Completely independent of any record label, the progressive metal band is entire self-run, self-managed, and self-produced, being truly an independent act. In a world where record labels are often failing to adapt to the new “game” of sorts, this is the new breed.
Having just released a new album in Fool’s Gold, the perks of being a self-produced entity is that Charles can essentially release tracks on his time and schedule – and this includes getting guest vocalists like Thy Art Is Murder’s CJ McMahon on new songs. Over the weekend, a new teaser with CJ featuring on an upcoming song was posted, and you can find that below. It sounds monstrous.
