In a promotion strategy that seems to work pretty well for top-tier hip-hop artists like Kendrick Lamar and Drake, award-winning rock band Avenged Sevenfold is looking to join said club with the surprise release of their new album, The Stage. You can stream the album below – of particular note is the 15-minute long title track. For those who complained that Hail To The King (and possibly their past few albums in general) didn’t take enough risks, well, it’s likely this album is going to be their best received since Waking The Fallen. Only time will tell, however.
