Half Me is a new nu-metalcore group that packs quite the heat. The band takes influences from bands like Crystal Lake, The Gloom In The Corner, Dealer, and Alpha Wolf – you get the idea. Half Me has kept their quality throughout each release, meaning each release stands next to the others firmly. Half Me wrote their newest song ‘Mantis’ with plenty of dark emotions. The song touches based with the feeling of dealing with prolonged mental suffering that comes with the loss of a love one to suicide. ‘Mantis’ puts into fruition the feelings of helplessness and uselessness that comes with not being able to help a loved one overcome their suffering. Half Me appeared on the scene of October 2019 with their song ‘Firewalk’. Fast forward to February 2020, and the band releases their second song ‘Livebait’. Half Me captures a high energy aggressive take on the nu-metalcore genre. Half Me does a very good job at showcasing their talent throughout the 3 released songs out now!
And Hell Followed With made their return to the music scene in 2019 with their EP ‘Chimerical Reality’, and the comeback meant a new leader at the vocalist position. The EP was received fairly well with fans new and old. And Hell Followed With is featured on the now released Hollowed Records’ tribute to the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater soundtrack of the aforementioned game series with their cover of ‘Cyco Vision’. Their spot on the tribute album ‘Hollowed Skater’ was a bit different however, and the band addressed it. The now former vocalist Andrew Patterson announced on his Facebook that he was no longer a part of the band. There has been no word on who the new vocalist is, though And Hell Followed With is currently working on a new album.
