Just a week after premiering her first ever solo song “Simmer”, Paramore’s Hayley Williams continues striking out on her own with another new song, “Leave It Alone”. The single, which arrives off Williams’ new album Petals For Armor that’s due out in May, is yet another side of Hayley Williams that fans might not be accustomed to if they were raised on old Paramore records. Give the new song a spin below and let us know your thoughts on it.
While the band released their Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. album in 1996 (which is considered a demo by the band), Slipknot didn’t really come into their own until the release of their 1999 self-titled debut album. Of course, that record needs very little discussion considering it’s the one that launched the now legendary band into popularity, but if you thought that MFKR was the band’s first demo, you’d have been thought correct – at least until now.
Acclaimed metal band Darkest Hour are celebrating their 25th year of existence this year, and given how good their most recent album Godless Prophets… was, it shouldn’t be much of a surprise the the band is still going so strong. With Misery Signals also (apparently) releasing a new album this year, it only makes sense for the two bands to tour together. That’s exactly what’s happening, actually.
